This immersive 12-day international study tour for high school art students traces the richness and diversity of Spanish art, architecture and culture from Madrid to Barcelona.

Students will experience the masterpieces of the Prado, encountering the works of Velázquez, Goya and Bosch, and explore modern and contemporary practice at the Reina Sofía, home to Picasso’s Guernica. They will travel to the historic city of Toledo to engage with the legacy of El Greco, before continuing to Barcelona to discover the bold experimentation of Miró and the radical architecture of Antoni Gaudí, from the Sagrada Família to Parc Güell.

Along the way, students will explore Picasso’s early career, encounter Dalí’s surrealist vision in Figueres, and immerse themselves in Spain’s cultural traditions through flamenco performance, historic districts and vibrant food markets bringing art history vividly to life in context.
